http://www.fansofjimmycentury.com One of the best Oakland dance clubs, The Uptown, hosted Fans of Jimmy Century at one of the best shows I’ve seen this year. They write some of the best electronic dance music I’ve heard – reminiscent of Dirty Disco Youth remix or Dirty Disco STFU mix, but not really as housey, more on the rock edge, that seems to be getting so popular. Let’s face it, for some of us, pure form dance is not as exciting, we got a thing for the bangin’ dangerous hybrids. Not surprised that Fans of Jimmy Century is a staple on DJ mixshows on the east coast – gimme my dirty disco nyc! – Children on Sugar blog network.
